I’m Siyuan (Sylvester) Zhang, a passionate robotics enthusiast and Master’s student in Mechanical Engineering at Columbia University. With a solid foundation in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Sun Yat-sen University, I have a strong passion for advancing robotics through innovation and creativity.
My focus lies in Aerospace Technology, Mechanical Design, Bio-inspired Robotics, and Soft Manipulator, combining the flexibility of soft systems with the precision of rigid designs. Through advanced modeling, simulation, learning, and optimization, I strive to develop adaptable and efficient robotic solutions that address real-world challenges, enhance lives, and contribute to a sustainable and innovative future!
